Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to propose, define and implement solutions for product direction, visuals and experience
  • Conceptualize ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness
  • Create wireframes, user & process flows and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction
  • Assist in development & evaluation of personas, user stories and usability studies
  • Offers new ideas and communicates effectively

Requirements

  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
  • Familiarity with user interface patterns for web and software applications
  • Passionate about the complete design process
  • Proven UI/UX experience, 3+ years, with a strong portfolio in mobile/social/multiplayer apps
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • Fluency in English; excellent communication and presentation skills; great team player
  • Ability to solve problems creatively, effectively and under pressure
  • An innovative self-starter who has the ability to problem-solve, be creative, is ambitious and has a strong work ethic

Bonus Points

  • Gaming enthusiast
  • A bachelor's degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related UX degree is ideal
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong online portfolio to demonstrate your design skillsUnderstanding of what makes great user experience
  • Ability to create detailed mockups and work with engineers
  • You’re self-driven, a good communicator and a great team-player.
