Your Team

Our Architecture team is on hand to support every business unit with ten back-end specialists providing the infrastructure for the developer teams. We analyse the software in use, test and evaluate new technologies, and provide recommendations based on our findings. Join us in finding innovative solutions to technically complex challenges!

Your Tasks

Review and optimise our existing software and system architecture
Evaluate and recommend new technology to improve the existing ecosystem
Provide architecture consulting for development teams or help out as a technical lead on challenging projects
Execute migration projects and assume responsibility for their success
Implement robust, scalable and highly optimised infrastructure components * Improve and maintain existing application code

Job Description

Main requirements

  • You have extensive experience in web application architecture (scalability, availability, APIs)

  • You are an expert in at least two of the following programming languages: Ruby, Perl, JavaScript, Scala, C/C++, Java, Elixir, Go

  • You like to stay at the cutting edge of web application design and implementation within distributed systems

  • You are passionate about and brilliant at solving challenging problems

  • You are into pair programming and agile methodologies in general, and you enjoy sharing knowledge

  • You have experience in working with different stakeholders and have excellent communication skills

  • You are able to communicate efficiently in English

Nice to have

  • Experience in working in a Techlead, Architect or Lead role in the past is a plus
