Job Summary

Ad Insertion Platform Sarl is providing solutions and services in broadcast Ad insertion and Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) for Internet streaming live or on-demand content.

We’re looking for Back-end Developers that will be interested to join the Portuguese subsidiary of Swiss company active on online video and broadcast TV in the last 11 years.

The new online video platform is running currently on public cloud services and will be deployed for a major broadcaster in Europe, in the beginning of February 2018, with other customers following in 2018.

Developers will be in charge of developing new features, improving performances under load, and evolving the platform to a micro-services architecture deployed in containerized environment from mid/end of 2018.

If not, the candidate will have the opportunity to learn and work on these technologies.

We are looking for solution oriented people, able to work in an autonomous way but also with a team, having good communication skills, good mindset, positive attitude, anticipating problems and able to do a good quality coding.

Job Description

Main requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience

  • Real development experience on one of the following environments: Java, Asp.net (C#), Python

  • Relational and distributed databases (SQL and NoSQL)

  • Development and deployment of public cloud platforms

  • Experience in high volume internet applications

  • Docker or other container technologies

  • Kubernetes, Docker swarm or other container orchestrators

  • Golang

  • English speaking and writing

Nice to have

  • H264, H265, Mpeg 2/4, encoding
  • MPEG-DASH, HLS, Smooth streaming
  • VAST 3.0, VAST 4.0. VPAID
  • Akamai or CDN technology
  • Video player integration
  • French-speaking and writing is a plus
