JOB DESCRIPTION

Alluma is a digital currency exchange focused on bringing game-changing liquidity, a first-class user experience, a broad coin portfolio, and an advanced trading platform to emerging markets. We are headquartered in Singapore and have an office in India.

We are looking for a Global HR manager to build our HR department and support our rapidly expanding footprint. The main focus of the role will be establishing core policies and processes (see list below), supporting our rapid scaling through strategic recruiting efforts, and preparing our team for longer-term HR needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and assess future and current staffing and skills development needs; collaborate cross-functionally to support Alluma departments’ hiring

Design recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes and documentation

Monitor and evaluate HR activities’ effectiveness and report progress to senior management

Advise on, develop, and maintain HR related policies and procedures, such as:

sick and annual leave

work permits and visas

staff performance management

professional development

Manage sensitive, confidential issues with discretion

Develop and spearhead company culture initiatives, as requested

Requirements and Qualifications

5+ years experience as an HR Manager or acting in this capacity

Strong track record in designing and executing successful recruitment strategies and procedures; bonus for experience doing this at a start-up

Demonstrated effectiveness working across cultures, timezones, and languages

Ability to handle sensitive, confidential matters

Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively as an individual and/or on a team

Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
