Droste is a consultancy that leverages data and analytics to transform the way our clients solve their most critical business problems. The software we create has been used to predict failures in power plants, identify the likelihood of a person defaulting on a loan, understand retail customer preferences, and provide low-latency exchange rates for 100s of fiat and crypto currencies.
As a back-end developer, you'll work together with our data scientists, data analysts, front-end developers, and customers to design and implement APIs, web applications, database schemas, and provide infrastructure support.
Our clients are in finance, eCommerce, logistics, and have interesting challenges and datasets. So if you're looking for variety in your work, you'd be working on developing solutions across all of these domains.
Primarily you would be working with Python and SQL databases on AWS for most of your engagements, but having familiarity or experience with Go, Java, C#, NoSQL databases, and Azure would be helpful because our clients use a wide array of technologies.
