Hardware Engineering Manager                                 Location: Hong Kong & Shenzhen
Reporting To: Chief Technical Officer (CTO)                         Job Type: Full Time

actiMirror delivers data analytics to retailers, and targeted media to consumers using a data gathering platform of smart mirrors with object and face recognition capabilities.  We are a global startup based in Hong Kong with offices in US and China. 

Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated hands-on electronic hardware engineering manager to be based in Hong Kong with travel to the Shenzhen Bay area.  You will be a key member of the team working side-by-side with the CTO and CEO/COO.  We work in a dynamic, fast paced, multi-cultural team with the opportunity to learn from talented individuals across the company and across the globe.  You will be expected to challenge others, to be challenged yourself, to speak up, to contribute, and to innovate.  HK visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

Own and strengthen the relationships with our hardware suppliers & manufacturers.
Plan, monitor and drive the timely production of hardware units.
Own and drive resolution of hardware QA.
Own and drive resolution of hardware issues with suppliers & manufacturers.
Own and drive product certification.
Work with OEM factory & internal technology team to develop new products.
Travel as necessary.
Source and document hardware components and solutions.
Support and train colleagues, distributors, installers and clients.
Required Experience:

5+ years R&D experience in consumer electronics area, preferably mobile or tablet industry.
Experience working with certification lab & authorities.
Working in teams and as a single contributor.
Written and spoken Putonghua.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Beneficial Experience:

Worked with software development teams.
Hardware debugging.
Familiar with Android hardware ecosystem.
 Minimum Qualifications:

Sc. Degree in Engineering or similar.
OR relevant exceptional ability.
