We're looking for analytical and passionate people to join our proven team as Marketing Manager based in Singapore.

• You will work with a diverse team of former investment bankers, strategy consultants and business owners in developing, monitoring and improving products to facilitate the activity of private investing

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop all marketing communications and strategies for the firm

o includes both internal and external stakeholder communications

o work with each business unit (BU) to achieve communications objectives including sign ups, engagement, participation and investment

o create and implement marketing tactics alongside progress measured by the marketing funnel (Awareness > Engagement > Conversion > Advocacy)

o develop innovative methods to engage existing user base

o grow user base which includes investors and business owners

o utilise email as a primary marketing tool to engage Fundnel’s investor base, carried out via

▪ Email marketing in the form of a fortnightly newsletter ‘The Filter’ covering industry deals, news and trends

▪ Deal blasts targeting specific segments of the investor base to showcase relevant deals to be followed up subsequently by the Investments Team

▪ Other ad-hoc email marketing opportunities directed by the BUs

• Coordinate with product team to deliver a cohesive platform experience (fundnel.com)

o write, publish and edit all web-based written content to be featured on fundnel.com

o develop in-house marketing content (including articles, bylines, white papers) together with relevant BUs to produce retail-facing content

o support the product team with relevant copy for all published pages

• Oversee and manage all PR-related activities with current public relations agency-of-record (PR AOR)

o work with incumbent third party team to develop PR initiatives on a long term (annual) and short term (monthly) basis

o Delivery of two press mentions per month (see fundnel.com/press)

o work with PR AOR to identify key media opportunities (press articles, bylines, op-eds, speaking opportunities and event appearances) for Fundnel’s co-founders and BU heads

• Lead offline event planning and execution on a quarterly basis

o work in tandem with BU heads and operations manager to conceptualise, develop and execute offline events, typically targeted at engaging the wider investor community

o handle all manner of event planning tasks, including goal and agenda setting, budget planning, registration, pre- and post-event marketing

 

Skills & Experience Required

• 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the finance / fintech sector

• Agency experience a bonus

• Strong experience with digital marketing, with a good understanding of marketing analytics

• Experience in dealing with and managing third party agencies

• Familiar with media handling and organisation

• Good copywriting skills required

• Strong technical proficiency in Powerpoint, Keynote

• Additional technical proficiency in design software (Adobe suite) good to have

• Familiar with goals tracking

• A Diploma or Degree in Business Management (Marketing), Economics, Information Management

 

The ideal candidate should

• Be interested to work in the small business (startup) environment

• Possess a strong interest in fintech / financial services

• Be able to provide thought leadership on investor and business owner engagement

• Have a basic understanding of terms in financial statements and financial ratios
