The Job:

Finance:

• Oversee day to day financial activities by ensuring timely and accurate payments for Account Payables

• Work closely with accountants and auditors for regional reporting matters

• Responsible for full sets of accounting, financial reports and corporate secretarial matters

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and procedures

• Liaise with vendors to negotiate on best pricing

• Verify and process staff claims

• Implement proper finance processes

Human Resources

• Responsible for end-to-end recruitment lifecycle which includes partnering with internal stakeholders, innovative sourcing, and competency based interviews, offer negotiation, staff on-boarding/off-boarding, welfare and payroll

• Responsible for strategic hiring from crew to senior management positions

• Manage talent development and tracking of employees’ performance (KPIs)

• Manage and resolve conflicts, handle grievance and discipline of all employees as and when required

• Work with a continuous improvement mind to improve processes for enhanced outcomes

• Ensure proper income tax filing

• Coach, counsel and drive the team to achieve the departmental targets

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent;

· At least 3 - 5 Year(s) of working experience in a similar capacity, preferably startup environment

· Possess high degree of accuracy, attention to details, especially practical experience of transactional accounting, reporting and operational finance;

· Extensive knowledge of Singapore labour and employment regulations and best HR practices;

· Proven ability to build strong, positive relationships & influence and manage internal & external stakeholders across all levels;

· Strong team player and leader who is able to lead and nurture. You will need to supervise a team of 2 executives;

· Knowledge of Xero (Accounting) and Justlogin (HR) software is preferred.
